What this site collects, why it collects it, and which services process it for me.

Last updated

This notice explains what happens to your information when you use this site. The short version: there are no advertising or tracking cookies, and apart from the technical data every website receives, such as your IP address, the site only handles what you choose to send.

Who is responsible

Brahimai LLC runs this site and is responsible for the personal data described here. Its registered address is 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. You can reach me at [email protected].

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

Contact form

When you send a message, the form collects your name, email address and message, plus your company and the topics you tick if you choose to share them. They are delivered to me as an email through Resend, an email delivery provider; the site keeps no copy of its own. Resend keeps each email, including its content, for 30 days on servers in the United States. I use your details only to reply to you and to discuss your project.

To block spam, the form may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address, to tell people from bots. To limit how many messages one address can send, a one-way hash of your IP address (for IPv6, of its network) is kept in memory for about ten minutes, and in the rate-limit store run by Upstash when that is in use.

Booking a call

When booking is available, the contact page loads the scheduling widget from Cal.com once you choose to see the available times. Cal.com receives technical data such as your IP address, and the details you enter if you book, under its own privacy policy.

AI assistant

If you use the AI assistant, your questions and the conversation so far are sent to Anthropic, which generates the answers. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use them to train its models, and deletes them within 30 days, or keeps them for up to two years if its automated checks flag a breach of its usage policy. The site does not keep the conversations. To limit how many questions can be asked, a one-way hash of your IP address (for IPv6, of its network) is kept for about twenty minutes in a rate-limit store run by Upstash.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure performance. They do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors.

Theme preference

If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

How long I keep your messages

I keep your messages while we discuss your project. If we do not start working together, I delete them within 12 months of our last exchange; if we do, they become part of the project records and are kept for as long as the law requires.

I use the details you send to answer your inquiry and, if you ask, to prepare an offer: steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Everything else described here, such as hosting, spam protection and analytics, rests on my legitimate interest in running a secure, working site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Where your data is processed

The services named in this notice are based in the United States or run servers there, so your data may be processed outside your country. Each of them explains in its own privacy policy how it protects such transfers, for example with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of any message you have sent, in a portable format if you like, and ask me to correct or delete it, limit how I use it, or object to that use. Write to [email protected] and I will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
